Buffalo King Untamed Megaways Slot Review
The newest Buffalo King Megaways slot from Pragmatic Play. Wild multipliers in the base game, a free spins multiplier that keeps climbing, and a top win of 10,000× your bet.
Our Take: Untamed doesn't reinvent the series, but it's the strongest Buffalo King game so far. The climbing wild multiplier in free spins is what makes it worth playing.

Buffalo King Megaways Slot Overview
Buffalo King Untamed Megaways is the 2024 follow-up to the original buffalo king megaways slot. Reel heights change every spin, giving up to 86,436 ways to win, and wilds can carry multipliers in both the base game and free spins.
- Megaways reels change height every spin, with up to 86,436 ways to win.
- Wilds can carry 2×, 3× or 5× multipliers in the base game.
- In free spins, the wild multiplier grows by 1× every time a wild helps a win.
How This Buffalo Slot Machine Pays
Like every Megaways game, the number of symbols on each reel changes with every spin, so the number of ways to win changes too, up to 86,436. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels. Winning symbols disappear and new ones tumble in, giving more chances to win on the same spin.
Wild symbols can land with a 2×, 3× or 5× multiplier in the base game. A random feature can also fill the reels with buffalo symbols for a big base-game hit.
Buffalo King Untamed Megaways Free Spins
Scatter symbols trigger the free spins round. Here the wild multiplier starts at 1× and goes up by 1× every time a wild is part of a winning combination. It doesn't reset during the round, so a long run of wild wins can push it very high. That growing multiplier is how the 10,000× max win becomes possible.
Buffalo King Untamed vs the Original Buffalo King Megaways
The two Megaways versions are easy to mix up:
| Version | Max ways | RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo King Megaways (2021) | 200,704 | 96.52% | 5,000× |
| Buffalo King Untamed Megaways (2024) | 86,436 | 96.02% | 10,000× |
The original has more ways and a slightly higher RTP; Untamed has double the max win and a stronger free spins multiplier. Many other studios make buffalo slot games too, from Aristocrat's land-based Buffalo series to Buffalo Blitz, but they're unrelated games with different rules.
